Laser hair removal is based on the principle of “selective photothermolysis”. It implies that laser light is absorbed by the target organ (dark pigment in hair – melanin). In this case, the surrounding skin, which does not contain pigment, is not damaged. Thus, a light, gunny or gray hair laser simply “does not see” and, accordingly, does not eliminate. Moreover, to date, there are no laser or photo epilators that would successfully and radically eliminate cannon or gray hair. This is contrary to the principle of light hair removal.
